1. Obtain a Go-Cash Prepaid MasterCard from UAE Exchange
In order to obtain a go-cash card, go to any UAE Exchange branch and get a go- cash MasterCard with your emirate ID. You will be given an account-opening form to fill your personal details including name, address, mobile number, email address etc.
Furthermore, load some amount in the card on any approved currency of your choice. The UAE Exchange will charge from AED35 – AED 50 for this service. 2. Open an Online PayPal Account With the Same Details Used For Go-Cash Card
To open a PayPal account, go to www.paypal.com and use the sign-up button for a personal account. On the next page, make sure you select the United Arab Emirates as your region or country. Fill in your email address with a strong password and then click on Continue.
Next is to fill out all information about yourself, this includes name, address, and date of birth, national id, Zip Code and mobile number. And so, PayPal will send you an activation message to the email address you signed up with.
However, you will need to verify that you own this email address by signing into the email account, locate the new email message from PayPal. Once seen, open it and click on the verification link
NB: Your personal details must be the same in both accounts. The Address and Name you will use for the PayPal account must be the same with that one of Prepaid MasterCard. Date of birth to be used should tally with the one on the go-cash account or any of your Identity Cards.
3. Link Your Go-Cash Mastercard to Your PayPal Account
On your PayPal account tab, you will see two options: to link a credit card and to link a bank account. Choose to link a credit card option and fill in the details of your prepaid MasterCard, including the name on the card, card number, CVV number, and the expiry date as requested by PayPal.
At the end of this page, click on the ‘link-card’ button and PayPal will charge your prepaid card $1.00 – $1.95 to confirm your real ownership of the MasterCard. Make sure you have a minimum of 3 to 5 dollars in your Go-cash Card. The next step is to verify your account.
4. Verify Your PayPal Account
In order to verify your account, download the UAE Exchange mobile app or visit https://www.uaeexchange.com/login and sign in to your prepaid MasterCard account. Go to your transaction history and copy the transaction number of the PayPal charge. Paste it on the option provided inside your PayPal account and click on verify
After Verification your PayPal account is ready to use. You can now send and receive money with ease from any part of the world
